Pedestal Project-Doug Solem

When designing this pedestal, it was important that it related to me.  I decided to go with an outdoors like idea showing my love and humor with fishing.  I contradicted the idea of taxidermy and actually mounted the moment someone loses a fish.  I used actual tree branches, pine needles and wood.  The pedestal itself was made on top of a rustic bucket that i found, giving the viewer an emotional feeling when they see it.  overall I'm very happy with the way it turned out, and i believe it sent my message perfectly.
