Miniature set of "That 70's Show"
Materials: Wood, Cement, acrylic paint, fabric, cardboard, found objects
For my pedestal I decided to choose a subject that would be challenging and fun to work with. So I completed a miniature model from a recognizable television show. I made each of the pieces to scale and tried to include as much detail as time allowed. The pedestal aspect behind my project is the idea of an inverted pedestal. Instead of the art being displayed on top, the art is displayed inside the pedestal. I chose to place the pedestal close against the wall so that the audience is forced to look down into the pedestal to really see what is inside.
Pedestal Project- Elizabeth Welle Materials: Wood and nails
I wanted to make a piece that was unstable, a little confusing in nature and as simple as possible. A piece that would make any viewer wonder what the purpose of the work was.

The view looking down at the set really makes an interesting image just by itself. -Tony
